Between sea and Guna culture

We will visit Pelicano Island (famous for the Netflix series “Money Heist), Natural Pool, Anmardub Island or Estrella Island, Aroma Island, Ina Island. We will go to visit one of the Guna Indigenous Communities, where we will see how the community lives.​

Day-by-Day Itinerary: 4 Days

5:30 am Departure from Panama City by 4x4 car
Passport control and payment of taxes to enter the region
Boat transfer from the port to the island
Accommodation in the chosen cabin (Shared dorm or Private Cabin)
Lunch and dinner included
Tour: Pelicano Island, Natural Pool, Anmardub or Estrella Island
Sleep on Pelicano Island
Breakfast, lunch and dinner included
After breakfast transfer to the second island

Accommodation in the chosen cabin (Shared dorm or Private Cabin)
Tour: Ina Island, Guna Community
Sleep on Ina Island

The boat will leave the island for the port around 8 am

Island Details

Aroma Island
Shared Cabins: Several cabins used as shared dormitories, could be 6 people up to 8/10 people. They are assigned once you arrive on the island and cannot be chosen before, the cabins have a sand floor.
Private Cabins: There are 4 Private Cabins with shared bathroom. The cabins with a shared bathroom are mixed between sand and wooden floors. This cabins can accommodate from 2 people onwards.
​All cabins are basic but comfortable.
For all the cabins without private bathroom, they are separate from all accommodations and quite basic. There are 5 toilets and 5 showers shared between all guests.
There are not outlets for charging in most of the cabanas however guests may charge devices in the restaurant area in the evening.
Volleyball: Yes.
Ina Island
Shared Cabins: Several cabins used as shared dormitories, could be 6 people up to 8/10 people. They are assigned once you arrive on the island and cannot be chosen before, the cabins have a sand or wood floor.
Private Cabins: There are 5 Private Cabins with shared bathroom. Almost all the private cabins have a wooden floor, there is one with a sand floor. This cabins can accommodate from 2 people onwards.
​All cabins are basic but comfortable.
The bathroom they are separate from all accommodations and quite basic. There are 4 toilets and 4 showers shared between all guests.
There are not outlets for charging in most of the cabanas however guests may charge devices in the restaurant area in the evening.

1 shared dormitory in a single cabin, accommodating up to 12 people, with a sand floor
Private Cabins: 3 private cabins with shared external bathroom, wooden floors. Accommodates 2 or more people

PLACE OF DEPARTURE

DEPARTURE TIME

Between 5:30 and 6 am

​RETURN TIME

Departure from the island on the last day takes place after breakfast, between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m., with arrival in Panama City between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. A later departure is available upon request, at an additional cost

LATE DEPARTURE FROM THE ISLAND

Late departure from the island on the last day costs $25 per person and also includes lunch. ​
After breakfast, you’ll need to vacate your cabin to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next guests. Your belongings can be safely stored until departure. You will have a place to leave your things until you leave the island (around 3:00 p.m. on the last day), with arrival in Panama City between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.
It is highly recommended to book the late check-out during the tour booking phase, as availability on the same day on the island cannot be guaranteed.

115 km from the City, between 2:30 and 3 hours

ROUNDTRIP

Pick-up is included only from accommodations (hotel/hostel/apartment) located in the downtown area of Panama City.
Please note: We do not offer pick-ups from resorts or hotels located in areas such as Westin Playa Bonita, Dreams Playa Bonita, Playa Blanca, or any other location outside of downtown.

If your accommodation is outside the central area, a meeting point will be arranged, such as a nearby supermarket, gas station, or parking lot — to be confirmed at the time of booking.
San Blas Dreams is not responsible for pick-up requests outside the designated area.

The island is located about 40 minutes from the port

INCLUDED TOUR CANCELLATION

The tour to Estrella Island, Natural Pool and Anmardub Island is included in the package price, with no extra fee, and is not refundable in case of weather-related cancellations.
The Guna Community tour, being an extra activity, will be refunded.
